Important Information

Please show-up at the meeting point 5 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
During peak season, short boarding waiting may occur; refunds or complaints will not be accepted.
Each gondola can hosts up to 5 guests (a total of 5 people including children and infants); capacity is limited to 3 guests if the 2 musicians are on board for the serenade
The duration of the tour follows a standard itinerary, according to the selected boarding station and the option chosen.
If guests are running late, boarding is not guaranteed and the tour may be shorter.
Full penalty will be applied in case of “no-show”
In case of adverse weather or tidal conditions, the duration and itinerary are subject to change or it may be cancelled for safety reasons.
The organizer may provide a cancellation notice to be sent via e-mail or phonecall to guests; without notice, guests are required to arrive at the meeting point to avoid any no-show penalty.
Any changes (in terms of time or date) is subject to a penalty.
Request of changes must be communicated by sending an e-mail to info@gondolieritravel.com, the organizer will verify availability and confirm or reject the request, according to the availability.
Guests can cancel the booking reservation by sending an e-mail to info@gondolieritravel.com
Cancellation Terms are: 3 days in advance for standard single private gondola services and 5 days in advance for combined gondola services

Terms and Conditions

Penalty of € 10.00 will be applied to each reservation change request.
Any communication sent within the deadline terms (3 days ahead for single gondola and 5 days ahead for combined gondola) will be subject to a partial refund: Organizer will keep a penalty of € 10.00 and provide the difference due by using the same payment method.
Any communication sent after the deadline terms (3 days ahead for single gondola and 5 days ahead for combined gondola) will not be refunded.
Full penalty will be applied in case of “no-show”

Meeting Point

San Vidal gondola pier is located near Campo San Vidal, on the Grand Canal

Entering the San Trovaso Canal, you’ll admire the church of the same name which recalls the classic Palladian lines. Next to the church is the traditional “Squero” San Trovaso boatyard which has been continuously active in gondola construction since the 1600s. Today the Squero carries on the age-old tradition of building and maintaining gondolas, the pride of Venice. The ride continues through the quiet residential areas of Dorsoduro, with its beautiful palazzi in varied historical styles, returning to the Grand Canal to see Palazzo Grassi, host to modern art exhibitions and Ca’ Foscari, the headquarters of the University of Venice. We finish by returning to the starting point.

The traditional “Squeri” boatyards continue with the equally famous Squero Tramontin, and passing through the canals of Dorsoduro you reach the Grand Canal. Here you’ll have a breath-taking view of the most enchanting waterways in the world lined with its famous Palazzi. The ride ends returning back to the boarding dock.
