Departing from the San Tomà gondola station, in San Polo, close to the famous Frari Church, the gondola starts on the Grand Canal and we enter into the hidden wonders which this itinerary holds for us.

Following the San Polo Canal we pass Campo San Boldo, with its truncated bell-tower, one of the special hidden corners of the city. Following smaller internal canals, we reach the Grand Canal and admire Ca’ d’Oro, the Gothic palazzo facing the Rialto market. The lively market, largest in the city, still attracts Venetians and tourists to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables, but especially fish from the Adriatic.

We continue along the Grand Canal, passing Palazzo Cà Pesaro, today home to the International Gallery of Modern Art, and passing under the Rialto Bridge, to conclude the tour at the starting dock

For 30 or 60 minutes, the same itinerary as above. Two musicians (a singer and accordion player) are on board with you (occupying two of the five places, so max 3 guests) and will play traditional Italian and Venetian music.
