Sunset Apertif: an exclusive cocktail at sunset along one of the most beautiful and fascinating roads in the world: the Grand Canal. A typical Venetian vessel, the Bragozzo, which floats slowly, giving you the possibility to admire the magic of Venice. Time: 2 hours.
The Mysterious Lagoon: Do you want to be the protagonist of a truly unique experience which is far from the normal tourist fare? Pick a tour which includes the Southern Lagoon. A chance to understand how Venice was born. You’ll have a chance to see fishing in the Lagoon – our Captain is a fantastic fisherman – and eat delicious fresh fish aboard your Bragosso. During navigation amongst the Venetian shallows you’ll also stop for a refreshing swim. Time: 6 hours.
The Northern Lagoon: an entire day navigating the Northern Lagoon to visit the three islands of Murano, Burano, and Torcello.
Murano: we’ll stop in a glass factory and admire the Master glassblowers that still work with the same tools and techniques as in the past centuries, Children might have a chance to try the blowing, and then a visit to the showroom.
Burano: a marvellous little fishing village, famous for its lively colored houses, the lacework and the typical “buranei” cookies. We’ll wander the narrow and hidden streets of the island, charming corners that will give you unforgettable photos. We will visit one of the historical studios of lacemaking and weaving of the island, with a break to enjoy gelato and the sweets of the island.
Torcello: the first island settled by the Venetians in the lagoon after the Barbarian Invasions. The Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, 639AD, the church of Santa Fosca, the Devil’s Bridge, the Throne of Attila, only a few of the monuments that testify to the dawn of Venetian life in the Lagoon (not including museum entrances). Time: 6 hours
Southern Lagoon and the “Moeche”: this special tour will let you discover and experience the enchanted Venetian Lagoon, uncontaminated and unique in its originality. Amongst the shallows you will explore from close-up the local flora and fauna. During the sailing you will be served an aperitif and fried seafood fresh from the lagoon, listening to stories of the lives of the fishermen of moeche (soft-shelled crabs), and of this Bragozzo. On-board this typical Venetian vessel well observe how they fish, which is amongst the oldest and most traditional of the local art forms. Waiting for lunch, it will be possible to swim in the waters of the Lagoon, in its magical scenery. Menu: Appetizer, First, Second, Typical sweets accompanied with Vin Santo, a selection of wines and water. The boat will continue through the shallows following canals and ghebi (minor canals) to discover the origins of Venice. Time for a quick swim, in the magic waters before returning, followed by a goodbye toast. What to bring: swimsuit, sunscreen, sandals, hat, insect repellent. On-board: towels will be provided, and boots for those that go aboard the fishing boat. Time: 7 hours.
